Tunnel vents on big tides

Post by razer1 »

The last time I fished the vents was before the jetties were built and I remember the tide pull made it pretty much unfishable on the big tides. Does the protection of the jetties make it fishable on the big tides now? After seeing Godders recent report I might give it a go tonight

The further back from the vents the easier it will be.Try behind Guinea Gap baths which a couple of hundred yards from the vents.Use 6 oz grip leads and you should be fine.
