I walked the dog on the shore this evening just as the tide was making it's way into the channel to the right of the Dalmorton groyne. Within 20 minutes this was how it looked on a relatively average tide.
The bank has dramatically changed. The gully to the left has shallowed and the water floods over the far left bank. The right hand gulley comes in much quicker, and the 2 gullies form a pincer movement and cut you off leaving a small island where you would have been fishing. Not too much of a problem to the experienced angler, but I can see visiting anglers and dog walkers having a few hairy moments.
