Lleyn Beach Reccy

Mick phoned on an "off the cuff" session to fish Porth Oer.We didn't make it that far up and ended up doin a bit of a reccy, and found this beach just after Trefor and just before Llithfaen

You can just make out Morfa Nefyn in the distance.

Ground was stoney close in but goin to sand with patches of weedy rocks further out.
Ideal Bass country..

(or so we thought)

Mick was soon into the fish with this Pollock around the pound mark

A quality Rockling

Bait was being stripped be these fella's

Bingo ! Are suspicions are true, a nice Bass of 2lb11oz falls for Mick's double razorfish

Will deffo be back there when the bass are running next year

Seem to have found yourself a good little spot there.Another 12 months and it'll be combat fishing on there.

BTW.......lovely little bass.

nice find that guys good to see the 'reccy' payed off with some nice fish. looks a good quite spot that as well
