Worked over Christmas/new year, so a few days off

Was planning a trip to Talacre Tomorrow (Thursday) over low water (15:30)

Anyone know if that gate to the beach car park is open? (last time I went it wasn't and was told the cafe car park would be locked before I got off the beach

There are 2 car parks in Talacre one by the Cafe and the other is next to it but you will need to turn right just before the chip shop. Not sure if this car park gets locked sorry but it should say when you go under the barrier or ask at the cafe/bar

Small tides so the barrier as you first drive over onto the beach will be open.It is locked at 9pm each evening until 7 am the following morning.There are no notices to inform you of this at the barrier.On the notice board to the right there is a tide table indicating which days there's no vehicle access to the beach because of the high tides.You can park in Point pub car park for £2 all day until 11pm.Brian
