Anglesey..Menai Straits (Riding centre)

Having only fished this mark once,i`m hardly in a position to tell you the best way to fish it...what i can tell you is it has a good deep channel running along it and is reputed to fish well for bass in the right conditions. The tidal pull can be strong and weed can be a big problem on the retrieve,so i`d look to fish neap tides to optimise your chances. It`s also a popular area for spinning/plugging towards the mouth of the Straits.
I`d expect to see huss ,hounds and dogs coming out too.
There is free parking, though room is fairly limited,so you may have to reverse back to the end of the road to turn around ....

The fishing is virtually from your car....

The ground you`re fishing from is fairly comfortable with small stones/weed.

Getting there....go over the Britannia bridge then turn left at the lights for Brynsiencyn (A4080)...continue following the A4080 for @ 15mins and you will pick up the signs for Anglesey Riding Centre...follow the road all the way, passing the riding centre and you will come out on the Straits.
winter fishing sucks
