Fished the Skua Sac open at Llandudno North Shore on Saturday night. Lovely evening, fishing was slow till light started to fade . A few dogs came out to the big hitters but I was so happy to get a whiting over the 20 cm limit. I had blanked in their last match here so the aim was to card at least something! A late flurry of 5 dogs in 3 cast pushed me right up and helped me beat anglers pegged either side, both highly decorated match anglers so well happy . Finished in 6th place out of 26 and managed a payout on joint 2nd biggest fish with a decent dog of 66cm
Sandeel , ragworm and fresh mackerel did the trick for me
Tony Bob won it with 18 fish , mostly dogs. He was miles ahead of everyone else.
I didn’t fall over casting on the pebbles tonight so
balance improving!
