Met up with Tim n Neil at Ainsdale (no sign of Bluecat 
) the casts were hard to find and we ended up doing a fair bit of walking....got 40+ in the end which was enough for a session.I had hoped to fish one of the groynes around Egremont,but that`s no place to be on your own,so i decided on Mariners Wharf,as the noddy`s would still be in bed 
Only one keen angler was in position when i arrived ...Philinliverpool
He`d had a couple of whiting early on,but things were a bit quiet not much water here which does`nt help.From 6am onwards things picked up with plenty of knocks mainly due to whiting....only a couple of micro codling were playing out.A few more lads arrived towards high water,and we were all catching whiting....pretty boring really
