Sounds like the recent low temps have not made much of a difference to the Mersey ,sounds grim really ..but gonna give it a try Saturday night regardless.thinking around mariners wharf maybe .gonna make a few more scratching rigs first though.good luck

A couple of frosts will not do anything to the Mersey.

Do you get plaice at the alt fished it years ago just flounder and if so what month do they arrive thanks Tommy

directions in the venues section...don't go through the gate or you will prob get locked in...park on the estate close by

Be more useful(or not probably) Steve, if we could look up seabed temperatures. Don;t see too many cod sun bathing on the surface these days. So I'm with you, its not conclusive to look at one single water parameter to decide why the fishing is so poor. Just have to keep trying and enjoy the day even if you blank. I should know, I am a master at it!
