Planning a session this Saturday for my 6 year old sons first crack at fishing and for me to blow the cobwebs off the gear. Tide a bit big for Liverpool side so I'm thinking of high over by the Eggy Ferry/Guinea gap. Does anyone know if there is a match being fished there this Saturday? Don't really want to take him over to find it's rammed.

I fish because I love to.... not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant and not nearly so much fun.

Highly unlikely for there to be any matches on a Saturday....good luck...Guinea Gap should give you some sport
