Fished Pen on Saturday night as part of the teams of 5 National sea league .
Basically it was terrible with half the team blanking myself included. However the team members that did catch moved us from 5th to joint 2nd in the league so pretty positive
It was flat calm and an algae bloom made the water like coffee that stunk horrible!
Only 15 out of the 50 anglers caught , whiting and dogs
2 matches on Sunday for me, Marine Beach Fleetwood over high in the morning then race to the Wirral for a PM’s match on Maddocks bank over low. Probably miss the start of the 2nd but will always support the best I can
