Preview Round 6 Kingslake Rd Jan 8th

A competitive yet informal set of matches in and around the Mersey. With only 2 fish to count,it`s a good way to get in to match angling

Preview Round 6 Kingslake Rd Jan 8th

Post by Big Kev »

The year gets off with another comfortable prom match along the Kingslake Rd stretch...in order to keep a level playing field the boundary will be from the Eggy Ferry pub up to Trafalgar Ave.The bulk of the catches will be whiting and dabs, with the chance of flounder and codling, though the reduced tidal flow due to the proximity of the groynes negates the likelihood of quality fish showing, but that`s match fishing and as such i expect it to be a very close affair.
Fishing will be from 9.30am to 1.30pm (high water noon)
Booking on will once again be at the car park by the Eggy Ferry pub, bottom of Tobin St, (CH44 8DF) from 8.25am to 8.55am
