Monday night session at seacombe
Decided on a session at the vents, had a couple of errands to run first, blizzard coming through Liverpool, a few cars hitting railings, lampposts etc. Slowed the journey a bit. got to the vents, nobody else about, set up with 2 hook flappers, frozen baits, started with black and mac on one rod Mac and squid on the other. First cast, 37 cm codling on the black&Mac, small whiting on the other. Good start. Fished 3 down and 3 up, whiting fest, lost count after 20,with plenty of double headers, a few decent dabs but no more codling, kept 3 whiting, 33,34&35 cm so fresh fish for tea tonight
