Well only 10 adults and 1 junior braved the forecast at Perch rock .
We met in the car park and once everyone arrived we made are way down to the beach there was another match on today and they had already spread out from the green bouy to the left so we all made are way to the right of the bouy .
Fishing was slow from the start with a few undersized whiting,
Weed was a problem for the lads closer to the green bouy along with some snags Rob turner was first off the mark with an in size whiting then Dyl had a dog fish with the rest of us finding nothing .
Rob turner was still pulling in the odd in size whiting and a Dab of 27cm Richie Fisher was struggling with a big snag in front of him so he decided to move to the very far left and it was not long before he started to find the fish unfortunetly he had a long walk down the beach to get his card signed.
Merieg also decide to move to the far left as well but he didn't manage to find the fish but at least it made it easier for richie to get his card signed .well it would have done if he had noticed that Mirieg had moved up as well he finaly spotted him after making the long walk another twice.
Dave lunt also made the move and he went to the far right which proved productive for him as he found a dog fish Stuart Davies managed to find a Dab about an hour before the end . So as the clock struck 2pm all in was called and we made are way back to the car park the totting up was'nt going to take long with only 4 anglers catching fish .
So the final result was
1st RICHIE FISHER 6 FISH FOR 226cm £30 AND 11 P0INTS
2nd ROB TURNER WITH 6 FISH FOR 154cm £20 AND 10 POINTS
3rd WAS JOINT WITH DYLAN KENSAL AND DAVE LUNT BOTH HAVING 1 DOG FISH EACH FOR 40cm £5 EACH AND 9 POINTS
4th WAS STUART DAVIES WITH A DAB FOR 27cm AND 7 POINTS
EVERYONE ELSE GETTING 1 POINT
BIGGEST FISH WAS SHARED BETWEEN ROB TURNER AND STUART DAVIES WITH A 27cm DAB £5 EACH
So looking ahead with the last match at dock road on the 8th october the league is looking very tight at the top with at least 4 anglers still in with a chance of winning with only 4 points between current top and four so should make it an interesting finish

Well done to the winners on a pretty grim day by the sound of it
winter fishing sucks
Re: ROUND 7 RESULT AND REPORT
Bit of a scratchy match. The other match seemed to be picking up more fish left of the buoy. Cheers Mark and thanks for the post match refreshments

Re: ROUND 7 RESULT AND REPORT
So glad I moved left after snagging up and losing my gear first cast. Didn't enjoy having to jog 200m each way to get the fish signed off though!
Thanks for a well run match Mark
