ROUND 1 PREVIEW PERCH ROCK sunday 22nd october

Well round one of this year's winter league sees us at perch rock there's not a lot i can tell you that you don't already know about this venue .
There should be plenty of whiting and the ever present dog fish and a few rays are still showing up, dabs usually show up as well but at times they can be few and far between .
We will be meeting up in the car park next to the fort from 7.15 am fishing from 8.30 if anyone arriving late i will take spare cards onto the beach just find me when you arrive , there will be hot drinks and soup before and after the match for anyone that wants it .

Thank you for the quick response. These will be my first go at match fishing I wanted to do them a few years ago but due to my own problems I couldn’t so I think I’ll be chewing the ear off a few of you just to make sure I’m doing it all to the rules.

Out of all the matches I have fished these are the most laid back and we will all spend time having a chat and giving advice.

Match measure if you have one. If not don’t worry too much. Dyl has a 1 metre one for his micro dabs

Might drop down to 9lbs line Sunday only a small tide that 26cm dab might be 201m away

Don’t forget 23cm minimum fish in the league fish year and dogs are 40cm
