Unfortunately another disappointing report, the effort certainly didn't match the reward
Due to other commitments this weekend the only chance I would get for a chuck would be the (very) early low at otterspool today. This meant no sleep for me and load the car at 1am
I arrived at just after 2am with the intention of fishing the last 2 down then up until I'd had enough.
The prom was obviously lifeless when I arrived. Eerily quiet other than the sounds of the local wildlife, by that I mean the police helicopter and scallies bombing around on promenade on their motorbikes
Long story short, the fishing was terrible. Not even getting pestered by whiting.
There were a few others that turned up later including Tommy and Steve. A few small bits out, rockling, flounders and a couple of small whiting.
No cod out as far as I was aware.
I lasted till just after 9 and decided to call it quits.
I will be back, let's see if this cold snap this week changes anything.
Might have to look at my tactics and change it up a bit...
