East Coast Sat Night
Let`s make another plan and watch another named storm arrive at the weekend to balls it up....anyway if the weather allows i`ll be fishing Aldborough from 4pm until 9pm (high water 7.30pm)...a few cod have started to show along with a surprising number of haddock, which is a species i`ve never caught....fingers crossed

Post code for Seaside Rd is HU11 4SA....usual cod baits n rigs...loop rigs /up n overs...lug,squid and razor. Here`s a few pics from a recent report to give you an idea of the ground and cliffs we need to get down/back up and the possible ledges to fish from when we get washed off the beach.Tom wrote:Hi Kev whats the post code? You follow Seaside rd to the end and park up,then it`s a case of walking along the tops to find a suitable get down...i always take a spade in case i need to cut some steps out of the clay cliffs to get back up. Forecast gives a w/sw breeze at the moment,so the cliffs will shelter us while on the beach, and similar if we can find decent ledges to fish from once we get washed off the beach....failing that we fish off the tops with the breeze behind, and worry about landing that double figure cod when it happens

Re: East Coast Sat Night
All being well I'll see you there Saturday.
Do you have a plan B incase it's too busy there? Parking is limited. Looking at the conditions, weather, it being a weekend, the recent report of good catches etc it could get busy.

There`s plenty of roadside parking at Aldborough, just means a longer walk to the beach
