Conditions looked good.
But I’d been fishing nearly 3 hours before I got a bite.
High tide came and went with nothing else showing. About 40 mins into the ebb I got my target species……
a tiddler.
I’d decided to take a travel lure rod so decided to have a go with that as the ebb got going just to try something different. I left a bait out while I wandered around in the surf casting in various directions
Decided to get back to the bait rod after half an hour or so with no interest on the lure. Just as I approached the bait rod it gave a decent nod and then another.
Another little silver though slightly bigger this time.
I put it back and had a couple more casts with the blow lug but nothing else showed. Called it a day about 4.30. Brightened up nicely in the afternoon thankfully.
