Lingmere Fishery 2006-04-05

9:15am Mathew picked me up and headed to Lingmere Fishery at Moreton.
We lost our way and we just walked in Moreton Angling Centre to ask for direction.

Kayak master Chris is just a good lad, he didn't think a sec, picked up his car key and leaded us to the fishery!

thanks again for the top kits it's brilliant!

Back to fishing, we were as lazy as usual, just picked a spot no matter it's facing the wind with no feature.

Our tactics was similar, expanders on hook and fed with feed pellets.

Mathew got a very good start and landed this lovly carp!

I also caught a nice skimmer near 2lb mark, just Mathew hand shaked the camera!

I caught my first even tench!

Sport was good whole day, we manged a fish every 10-15min, caught quite a lot of species, even rudd was on pellet. Good day out!

I mainly used 6mm expanders becoz I aimed for bigger fish. When bites dropped then I fed maggots with double maggots on hook. Then I got many bites and landed a few fish, small though.

Then I changed back to expanders, sometimes corn.
The Lingmere seems a pellet water, rudd, roach also caught on pellet.
