The Rock Channel Harrison Drive 17th May

Post by Petethebeat »

After the weekends Welsh adventure, still up for a spot of the good stuff.
Met Phil on the prom at 6:30am and had a stroll out to the mark. Left my bait in the car and had to walk back!
Rods in about 7ish and fished the low for a few hours until safe to do so, using four rods between us and fishing ALL baits we racked up 12+ plounders and a very nice 6-11 Thornie.......well worth the early start and a nice mark at the minute.

Thanks to Phil for Jedi like guidance, and shedding blood tailing the beast ;)

Well in Pete...it was thornier than most and the bar steward caught me out!

A word of advice for anybody venturing out onto this bank.....DON'T stay on this bank too long. Anything longer than an hour after low and you are taking chances.
