St Tudwalls Road / Abersoch

After a frustrating night before trying for something at the gimlet. i decided that i would like to give spinning ago, some one i know who lives near abersoch gave me directions to some rocks that are basically oppersite the islands. so off i set on what seemed more like a hiking expidition than a fishing trip, i can assure you it was worst comming back, hope they install stairs soon

i was fishing with a 2.5 lbs test curve tele carp rod and 14 lbs line, started with a small grey lure of which the name escapes me, after about 10 mins I had my first ever BASS !!! i was supprised at the fight it put up for its size



Changed over to an abu toby and found my self hooking two mackreal at a 1lb a pop these again had the reel screeming. after that i decided to try some tinsles as i have never used these and that is when the fun started hooking up to 4 fish at once






also managed another couple of schoolies





all in i must of had 30+ mackies, cracking fun. most went back but i kept these ones



which with a bit of kitchen magic became this, i will let you know what it tastes like in a hour or so
