Back drain crossens

fished the drain again this am ( 05.30 to 09.30hrs ) with plugs and spoons etc :D and what a frustrating session it was :roll: :roll: :roll: every lure i tried got a follow to the bank from pike in the 2lb to 4lb cat nothing bigger but they would not take the lure at all :x :x :x at about 9 o'clock i finely got a take :D :D :D and to my suprise caught the smallest pike i'v had of the drains :shock: :shock: :shock: a full 1lb 2oz :lol: :lol: :lol: then within 10 more mins got my 2nd take :D :D and reeled in a small perch of about 3 to 4 oz :shock: :shock: :shock: by this time i was ready for sacking it :( :( :( one of those days i suppose ;) ;) ;) even my hot pegs did not produce :shock: :shock: :shock: will be back soon for more though cos i love it :D :D :D :D :D :D ;) ;)
