The A554 Kings Parade is a mile of walled promenade with plenty of close parking makes this a popular venue particularly during the summer months. Locals may also call this venue Harrison Drive

The fishing itself is pretty average at best, though it does have it`s day.
A few smooth hounds and bass are taken every summer, along with flounders and eels.
Winter is more productive with whiting, dabs and codling, though not in the numbers you`d see from other Mersey marks.
It is, however a pleasant way to spend a summers afternoon 
The most popular areas are near to the Clown roundabout and the T-Groin and also the Double Slipway behind the boating lake further up towards Morrisons.
